»Naturally Catholic? Religious Positioning in the Missionary Museum of the Societas Verbi Divini in Steyl«Alberto Saviello has a doctorate in art history. From 2009 to 2011 he was an assistant at the art historical institutes of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich and the Freie Universität Berlin, where from 2011–2018 he was a research assistant in the project »Transkulturelle Verhandlungsräume von Kunst: Komparatistische Perspektiven auf historische Kontexte und aktuelle Konstellationen« funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). He is currently a lecturer at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. Alberto Saviello is a fellow at the Forschungskolleg Humanwissenschaften from October 2019 to February 2020.
