Vom 4. September bis zum 7. September 2019 findet am Forschungskolleg Humanwissenschaften der Goethe-Universität Frankfurt das sechste Kolloquium für Cultural and Literary Animal Studies (CLAS) statt.
Das CLAS-Kolloquium 2019 ist eine Veranstaltung des Nachwuchsforschernetzwerks Cultural and Literary Animal Studies (CLAS) und wird organisiert von Roland Borgards, Esther Köhring und Frederike Middelhoff.
Roland Borgards
Roland Borgards ist Professor für Neuere Deutsche Literatur an der Goethe-Universität Frankfurt. Er wurde 2001 an der Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen mit einer Arbeit über Peter Handke promoviert und 2006 mit einer Studie über die Poetik des Schmerzes habilitiert. Von 2008 bis 2018 war er Professor für Neuere Deutsche Literaturgeschichte an der Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg. Seit 2018 ist er Goethe-Fellow des Forschungskollegs Humanwissenschaften im Rahmen des Goethe-Fellowship-Programms.
