Hochtaunuskreis (Department of Culture and Arts)Conference
Frank Ausbüttel,rnGregor Maier
»The Romans in the Rhein-Main-Area«Dr. Frank Ausbüttel,rnGregor Maier, M.A.
The conference approaches it's subject from an almost historically subjective perspective: starting from environmental aspects such as weather and landscape and via insights concerning everyday-life and social structure coming to broad issues of the everyday life, like work, politics, economy, and the use of money. All scientists giving lectures will present latest results of their work and thus draw a complex picture of the roman everyday life between progressing romanisation and constant defense of newly established borders in the area of today's Hess.
