I am concentrating in particular on old age and am investigating – empirically, historically and theoretically – the relationship between experiences of violence during childhood and old age. Scholarly profile of Sabine AndresenSabine Andresen has been a professor of social pedagogy and family research at Goethe University Frankfurt since 2011. Also, she is chairperson of the Independent Commission for the Investigation of Sexual Child Abuse, which was founded in 2016 by resolution of the German Bundestag, and vice-president of the Deutsche Kinderschutzbund (German child protection league).
